Chickens hung near rubbish
They were prepared for cooking near rubbish thrown at the back of the stall.

Singapore, Feb 5, 2010 - Reader Fatty Bom Bom wondered if these chicken, which were apparently hung on a wall at the back of stall in Tampines Central, were safe enough to be eaten.

And nearby was rubbish.

He told STOMP:

"I saw this yesterday morning.

"The chickens were seen hung near the back door of the kitchen.

"The cooked chickens were in contact with the brick wall. Furthermore, there was rubbish thrown at the back of the stall.

"It was a small restaurant located at Block 513 Tampines Central 1.

"Are the chickens clean to consume?"
