Delicious Chee Cheong Fun at Restoran O & S
The popular PJ stall offers a curry version too, which is just as good, with chunky pieces of chicken.

Chee Cheong Fun
Restoran O&S

It is very difficult to come into this shop and not let greed get the better of you.

Everything on offer here is pretty tasty; there are at least 15 stalls offering fare such as Hakka yong tau foo, mee Jawa, wantan mee, pork ribs prawn mee, fried kway teow and Indian rojak.

One of the best is the Penang-style prawn paste chee cheong fun.

Although Chew Sing San does not make his own rice noodles, he does mix his own prawn paste, a thick and gooey concoction.

The curry version is just as good, with chunky pieces of chicken.

Chew’s is one of the busiest stalls in the shop but service is fast.

The fish head bee hoon is another worthy mention. Made from anchovy stock, the dish includes slices of tomato, ginger, preserved vegetables and a dash of evaporated milk.

The end result is a very appetising, tangy soup with pieces of crispy fried fish. At night, Hokkien fried noodles, grilled fish and satay are available.
