Tawa Jheenga

/images/0000/8702/prawns.jpg

One of the signature dishes in Shahi Maharani, Tawa Jheenga - which literally means grilled prawns, is marinated with spices then grilled over a hot iron griddle. North Indian food is very much associated with curries and tandoori items. This particular item is different as the cooking method of grilling over a hot iron griddle, "tawa", is used instead. This particular mode of cooking is also used for chapatti, meat & vegetables.

Succulent shelled Tiger Prawns are lightly marinated with spices and grilled over a hot iron griddle. Served Sizzling!!!
