I would like to share my disappointment with 717 Trading, which most of us are familiar with their durians. An order was placed with the son on 14 Oct for delivery on 18 Oct noon. Sms was also sent to him with the order details of 20kg of Mountain Cat. Unfortunately, on the Sun morning (18 Oct), the son was uncontactable. The Mountain Cat did not arrive at all. When he finally picked up his phone after 12pm, he had forgotten my order and asked me “how ah?” as he didnt have any stock for Mountain Cat. I had helped a friend to place the order and her guests were waiting in vain for the durians. What a letdown to my friend and I was faced with the owner’s son who was nonchalant about missing the order.

Last month, my office had placed 150kg of durians with him and he was expecting similar orders this month. If he had not failed us today (18 Oct), he would have gotten his 150kg Mountain Cat order by end of this month.

I told him he was such a disappointment and my office will not trust him with any future order.

So take note – the son goes by the name of Ming Hong.
