On Sunday, my family stopped by a coffee shop in Tampines to have light lunch. I ordered 2 pieces of prata for my son from an Indian rojak/prata store. After 5 mins of waiting, I decided to go and picked up our own food since we were rushing (and I was glad I went to pick up)! When the store owner saw that I came, dropping his dollars notes and coins into the money box, without washing his hands, he ‘chomped and hand picked’ the prata onto a plate and passed it to me! I was shock of his hygiene! To think that the Geylang food poisoning saga is not totally over yet! I told him that I didn’t want it anymore, and alerted him that he should keep his hands clean!
