What's yummy at Liang Court
Discover delicious food tucked in eateries spread all over the shopping centre, from great waffles to mouthwatering cha shu rice.

Singapore, August 14, 2010

You might have already known about the delicious Japanese noodles and enjoyed them at Tampopo or its conveyor belt sushi.

Or the Japanese foodcourt in the basement next to Meidi-ya supermarket.

A check with some of my foodie friends revealed that they were not aware of the delicious food at other eateries tucked in various corners of the shopping centre, which is known for its Japanese food.

Here's a guide to what's mouthwatering there:

Marutama Ra-men
#02-01

The best dish of this popular Japanese Traditional Ramen chain from Saitama is its signature Marutama Ramen.

It boasts a delicious chicken-based soup for its ramen, which comes with char siew pork and aosa weed.

The lipsmacking broth is achieved by long hours of stewing chickens to extract their collagen.

What's yummy: The signature Marutama ramen with its soothing golden chicken soup; the salted boiled egg with liquid centre and crispy grilled char siew. You must-try the char siew rice too. The latter is flavourful braised pork, which is fried with onions before it's topped on the rice. The taste is sensational!

The tomato broth in which items have been cooked in it tastes very soothing and nourishing.
