A doctor's favourite Ayam Penyet stall in SGH
Reader Jeffrey Chua wrote to SoShiok.com saying the Ayam Penyet sold at the hospital canteen is awesome.

Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is the biggest hospital in Singapore, and tucked away at a canteen in Block 4, is a Chicken Rice stall which serves excellent Ayam Penyet. A doctor working at the hospital wrote in to SoShiok.com with this contribution:

"I love Ayam Penyet. It is fried chicken with a zing! The zing comes from the sambal chilli that is so spicy, it makes me sweat.

The serving includes a big piece of chicken, deep fried, yet juicy and not dried out.

I also like that their rice is like those you can get in a Hainanese chicken rice stall. Yummy and gingery.

So, if ever you are in the area, or have a patient to visit, drop by the hospital's Kopitiam outlet and order this Ayam Penyet. It will surely fire up (for those who enjoy spicy food) and satisfy your stomach.
