What: This three-month old cafe is winning over fans with its elegant, Zen decor and its emphasis on all things green tea.

Must try: Refresh yourself with its signature matcha latte ($4.80 for the hot version, $4.95 for chilled), which its owner describes as “liquid green tea ice cream”.  Matcha is also served in the traditional Japanese style (Chado, $7.20).

OChaCha’s desserts are also good. Try the Matcha Panna Cotta ($3.90) and Matcha Azuki ($4), which sandwiches red beans and cream in green tea-flavoured sponge cake.
