Singapore, December 28, 2012 If this cafe sounds familiar, it is because there was a small outpost at JCube, which closed earlier this year. But fans of the brand can now head to its 90-seat flagship cafe, which opened last Friday at Plaza Singapura. Signature drinks include their matcha latte ($7), matcha mochi float ($9), Hoji chocolate latte ($8) and genmai cha ($5.50). Uji-cha, karigane cha, hojicha and genmai cha are also available by the pot (above, from $5.50). For main courses, tuck into salmon don ($14.80), beef udon with sesame sauce ($15.80) and mentaiko cream udon (below, $14.80). Dessert options include matcha parfait (below, $11.80), matcha ice cream anmitsu jelly ($8.50) and shiratama (rice flour balls) banana zenzai ($8.80). Zenzai is Japanese for red bean soup.
