Menya Musashi
01-16 Raffles City

This is probably the most prominent ramen eatery in town.

While many ramen joints are tucked away in hidden areas, famous Menya Musashi's first outlet welcomes you at the main entrance of Raffles City with battle-play.

Manga-style drawings of legendary samurai Musashi in a swordfight are splashed on shop frontages facing North Bridge Road and in the mall.

Set up in the mid-1990s in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Menya Musashi (which means Musashi ramen shop), has about 10 outlets in Tokyo today. It has garnered high ratings and rave reviews in the media in Japan.

Immensely popular in Tokyo, Menya Musashi has brought updated ramen with thicker soups to the Singapore outlet.

The reception has been very good, judging from diners' feedback and the long queues since its opening in the first week of April.
