Dressed in screaming pink, American Supermodel Tyra Banks was spotted at Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre yesterday with her minders.

Reader 'Gossip Lim', who was surprised to see her, said there was a guide explaining local food to her.

Ghim Moh Food Centre is famous for the food at some of its stalls (see recommended ones in photo gallery below)

Lim told Stomp citizen journalism website: "We went to Ghim Mo market for our lunch break today and we saw Tyra Banks walking around there.

"She was listening to her guide, who was talking about Singapore food and hawker life!

"We were very surprised to see her there!"

The gorgeous supermodel is in Singapore to promote a new TV series, "Asia's Next Top Model".

The reality TV show is an Asian version of the popular series "America's Next Top Model".

On Sunday (Aug 12), she held a press conference at Resorts World Sentosa where she wore a resplendent dress in lemon-lime gold.
