Synonymous with German food and draft beer, Oktoberfest is back this year at nine venues.
More than 3,000 people feasted at Swiss Club last week for Singapore's oldest Oktoberfest.
It was a night of drinking and feasting with premium Erdinger beer in 1-litre steins and a spread of German food such as pork knuckle, German sausages, oven roasted chicken and creamy mashed potatoes on the menu.
Held from Sept 12 to 16, the full event also included a live band playing a mix of German and contemporary music.
Upcoming next month, there will be the first Oktoberfest in the CBD and also the first on lawn. The former will be held on Oct 3 and 4 at The Bank Bar + Bistro, and latter will be held on Oct 5 and 6 at Chijmes.
