Barbecue aficionados have much to look forward to as the Sentosa BBQ serves up local hawkerfare charcoal-grilled to perfection!

This year, the Singapore Food Festival 2008 celebrates Singapore food in hawker-style. As the finale to the month-long celebrations, the Sentosa BBQ includes a ‘multi-racial’ smorgasbord of cuisines barbecued by our own chef.

Diners will be in for a good time as they watch cooks whip up a stingray or a mud crab from the gigantic pit while sitting on the silky sands of Palawan Beach.

Families can expect to whet their appetites with other local specialties such as chicken or mutton satay, assorted naan drizzled with fish head curry and chicken tikka.

“The Sentosa BBQ is the perfect combination of good food and great ambience that even the youngest member of the family can enjoy,’ said Jimmy Wong, Sentosa’s Events Director.

“We’ve also prepared a special line-up of entertainment to make this evening one to remember for everyone!”

So bring your hearty appetites down to Club Islander for the Sentosa BBQ.
