Like any other top hotels in town, St Regis has started a champagne brunch on Sundays, except that it does it with a bit more class than most.
Besides tucking into a buffet spread of starters and desserts that include freshly shucked oysters, you can order a main course which is cooked a la minute.
Plus, throughout the meal, serving staff come around with dishes from the hotel's various restaurants. These can range from wonton noodles and pan-seared foie gras to Maine lobster thermidor.
And to wash it down there is a free flow of Moet & Chandon vintage champagne.
